- La conoscenza di lingua inglese di livello B1 (Intermediate English). Gli studenti non in possesso di tale livello devono frequentare le lezioni di grammatica che saranno tenute dai Collaboratori alla Didattica.
A level B1 (Intermediate English) is recommended. Students who do not possess a B1 level must attend the Basic Optional Grammar Course which will be held by an Assistant Teacher during the optional hours.

Understand, analyze and acquire basic grammatical structures of the English language;
Understand and learn technical and medical-scientific terminology regarding nutritional science and dietetics;
Read and translate from English into Italian a simple medical scientific text;

Al termine del 1° Anno di corso lo studente dovrà:Conoscenza e capacità di comprensione

- conoscere e comprendere le regole grammaticali di base;
- conoscere e comprendere il lessico medico scientifico di base;
- saper leggere e comprendere semplice brani di lettura.

- applicare le sue conoscenze leggendo e traducendo dall'inglese semplici testi scientifici;

Durante il corso si tratteranno i seguenti argomenti:
grammatica di base della lingua inglese, con particolare attenzione alle forme usate più frequentemente nella letteratura scientifica;
funzioni linguistiche principali;
funzioni linguistiche orientate a tematiche sanitarie ed assistenziali;
lessico specifico dell’ambiente medico-assistenziale;
la dieta e la nutrizioneThe following topics will be dealt with during the course:
basic grammar of the English language, focusing on the most common forms used in medical English;
main linguistic functions;
linguistic functions focusing on health care topics, dietetics and food science;
very specific medical scientific vocabulary;

Modalità di insegnamento
L’insegnamento si articola in un modulo che prevede 36 ore di lezione di didattica frontale (3 CFU).
Durante il corso saranno adottate le seguenti forme didattiche:
Insegnamento frontale orientato alla didattica interattiva. Comprensione di lettura ed ascolto con esercizi inerente la comprensione ed esercizi di grammatica, traduzioni ed analisi di testi con esercizi di domande vero/falso, gap fills e domande aperte.The teaching module will consist of 36 hours of formal in-class lecture time (3 credits).
The following teaching methods will be adopted:
Frontal and formal interactive teaching by means of reading/listening and comprehensions, translations and analyses of medical texts with true/false questions, gap fills, grammar exercises, multiple choice questions, Use of English and open questions.- Oggetto:
Modalità di verifica dell'apprendimento
La prova scritta consiste in:
Esercizi di Grammatica suddivise in 5 parti, 10 frasi in cui trovare l’errore e correggere, 8 frasi in cui inserire il tempo verbale corretto, 7 frasi in cui scegliere la forma corretta del passato, 5 frasi in cui inserire il corretto verbo modale e 15 frasi da inserire la forma e struttura grammaticale corretta;
Quaranta Domande Vero/Falso inerenti il programma;
Quindici Domande a scelta multipla con 4 risposte e una sola corretta;
Test di vocaboli sul programma (50 domande).
Per accedere alla prova orale bisogna ottenere il 70% in ogni sua parte.
La prova orale consiste in:
Esposizione da parte dello studente della sua esperienza di tirocinio, patologia e/o un apparato, etc.Idoneità
Prova scritta ed Orale con Idoneità
The written test includes:
Grammar Exercises divided into 5 different parts, 10 sentences to correct; 8 sentences with verb tenses, 7 sentences consisting of choosing the correct past tense, 5 sentences with modal verbs and 15 sentences choosing the correct grammar structure;
Forty True/False questions based on the program;
Fifteen Multiple Choice Questions with 4 possible answers and only 1 correct answer;
Vocabulary Test on program (50 questions).
Students must achieve a minimum grade of 70% in each part in order to take the oral exam.
The oral test includes:
Discussion of the student’s training experience, disease and/or body system, etc.Pass/Fail Grading
